About the Project
Frontend development on RMP—Loblaw's self-serve retail media platform. Worked with Product, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to ship customer-facing features. Key contributions include: • Performance Optimization — Drove 10x performance improvement on the Ad Groups workflow, enabling users to manage 50 ad groups and 20 products (up from 5 and 8) without degradation—directly unblocking platform capabilities before a major release. • User Authorization System — Architected an app-wide permissions system that 3 adjacent teams adopted, reducing integration overhead and ensuring consistent access control across the platform. • Keywords Enhancement — Delivered complex interconnected components for keyword selection and management, coordinating across Ad Metrics, Foundation, and Design teams while mentoring a fellow developer. • Negative Keyword Targeting — Authored the Technical Requirements Document and development plan, then implemented the frontend for keyword exclusion flows. • Monitoring Infrastructure — Established Sentry dashboards and query builders to track performance metrics, enabling data-informed decisions about user experience.
