About the Project

Full-stack development on TrafxSAFE Connect—a real-time monitoring platform that leverages existing CCTV infrastructure for continuous road safety analysis. Unlike the on-demand TrafxSAFE product, Connect provides live dashboards and automated alerts. Key contributions: • Real-Time Data Pipeline — Built the Rails API responsible for ingesting continuous output from the video processing AI engine, enabling live updates in the user interface. • Email Notification System — Implemented automated alerts triggered by specific safety events, configurable through the UI or backend callbacks. • Shared Infrastructure — Developed Rails engines enabling code reuse across TrafxSAFE products, including frontend UI systems and database model modules. • CI/CD Pipeline — Set up automated deployment and test execution to ensure reliable releases across all TrafxSAFE products. • API Performance — Optimized database queries and API response times to support real-time data loads. • Guided Tutorials — Built onboarding flows and help modules to improve user experience for new customers. • Feedback & Support Integration — Set up bug reporting modules connected to JIRA and Zendesk for seamless issue tracking. • Admin Tools — Developed internal support modules to help the operations team deliver client projects efficiently.
